Buying a used Model S or X? How the battery was actually used, how it was charged, the air suspension, and whether high-voltage safety survived any collision don't show up on a test drive. In a single on-site scan, T800 reads the car's own data into a plain evidence report you can take into a negotiation.

What a same-day scan can and can't do. It can surface current-state red flags and the battery's lifetime BMS counters in one visit. It cannot create months of trend evidence — that takes continuous Guardian monitoring (see the bottom of this page).

Sample below is from a real 2017 Model X 100D — every figure read in a single session.

BMS lifetime ledger

99 cycles
The battery's own lifetime counters — read in one scan, no waiting.
Lifetime energy in / out9,924 / 9,522 kWh
AC vs DC charged7,417 / 392 kWh
DC fast-charge shareGentle · 5%

Current battery state

277.0 Ah
Weakest cell-group capacity, measured now — the number that caps real range.
Cell balance at rest5.2 mV · Excellent
Cell-group spreadEven
Pack internal resistance39 mΩ

Safety & mismatch flags

5,160 kΩ
HV insulation to the body — ~10× the safety floor. Most relevant after collision repair.
Odometer vs cycles135,595 km / 99
⚑ Far fewer cycles than the mileage implies — possible replacement pack. Surfaced to investigate, not an accusation.

Air suspension · current state

No active fault
A same-day check: current ride-height state and abnormal-compressor / fault flags.
Ride-height stateNominal
Active compressorIdle
Snapshot only. Slow-leak detection needs weeks of compressor-runtime baselines → that's Guardian, not a same-day scan.

How we decide what to report. We only promote signals that survive cross-checks against known tooling behavior, Tesla API snapshots, and physics-based consistency checks. Signals that fail are retired, not hidden — we even list what we deliberately do not claim.

No black-box score. Every line is a measured value with its data source shown — never a hidden 0–100 grade. Inferences (like a possible pack replacement) appear only as flags to investigate, never as accusations.

This is an evidence report — not a Tesla service replacement.

Keeping the car? There's also trend evidence.

Some evidence only appears over time: compressor baselines, slow battery-capacity movement, recurring charge behavior, and whether a quiet car stays quiet.

Guardian turns your garage into a continuous monitoring station for the slow changes a same-day scan cannot see — battery drift, suspension baselines, and whether a quiet car stays quiet.

Weakest cell-group capacity (CAC) over 165 days from Guardian monitoring: 281.5 to 277.0 Ah — a smooth 1.6% decline with no cliff.
165 days of weakest-cell-group CAC from continuous Guardian monitoring — the kind of trend a same-day inspection can't produce.
