Here are two Tesla owners describing the same car:

“I have 42k miles on my 2017 X and in the last 6 months have paid about $4,000 in repairs… Car is turning into a pumpkin with such low miles.” — r/TeslaLounge

Same model year. Same badge. One owner is thrilled at 125,000 miles; the other is bleeding money at 42,000. Read enough of these threads and you start to believe a used Model X is a coin flip — that reliability is something that happens to you.
